I was going to write on a new product I tried–Goosebumps, a spray that adds gloss and texture to paper.
I was going to write about visual overload that I get from the Mall, and Pinterest. Is it worrisome to feel like you have seen waaaaay too much color, idea, and just plain input.
I was going to write about the quirky issue of being smart. How it’s embarrassing and still impossible to hide. And how being smart in an anti-intellectual society is difficult and somehow bullying, lack of art appreciation and uh, yeah.
In truth, I taught all day to a very busy class of adults. I came home and wrote four articles that are due, and the hard fact is, I have to get up tomorrow and do it again. So while I have some ideas, there just isn’t any juice left today.
Not even enough for the studio. So I’m going to do the most creative thing I can think of–go to bed. There is always Saturday to write for.
