This Saturday, October 15, at 2 p.m. I’ll be at the Well-Red Coyote in Sedona, Arizona. It’s at 3190 W. Route 89A–the main route to see all those gorgeous red rocks. The book store has moved–it’s in the same mall as before, on Dry Creek Road, but it’s moved next to the European Deli. So you can have lunch, then drop by, make a permission slip and get your book signed. Enjoy Sedona–I can’t wait!
Webinar: On October 20, at 1 p.m. Eastern time (10 a.m. Phoenix time) my publisher, F+W Media (North Light Books) will host my webinar about Raw Art Journaling. I’m excited because you’ll get to see incredible work from people who are in my Artists of the Round Table class and some new work I’ve done. The webinar is free, but you have to register. Please don’t click on the ad, use the link instead. And no, it’s not a traditional drawing class. It’s about, well, raw art journaling.
Are you doing your own raw art? You can post your images to my Flickr Group, Raw Art Journaling. You’ll have to join the group (to avoid spammers, I’ve made it a permission-to-join group) but then you can share your work and see what others have done.
On Friday, October 21, I’ll be at Zinnia in South Pasadena, California, for a book signing. As always, we will be doing a short art experience class, too. We’ll be making permission slips so you can choose your creative work over housework or lawnwork. Zinnia is an amazing family-owned store, with great art supplies and wonderful classes. Hope to see you there!
